Melissani Cave
Melissani Cave is a Greek cave located on the island of Kefalonia Melissani that contains two big water filled halls. The Melissani cave was hidden for many centuries, until in 1951 it was explored.

According to Greek mythology, nymph lived in this cave.

It really looks fantastic, with a turquoise lake and the dense forest around the cave.

Water of the lake based on a solid stone foundation, overhanging the top of the same stone dome with a huge hole, through which the sunlight penetrates and creates wonderful reflections in the water and on the walls of Melissani
